Back again: BLACK MAMBA – the 63%-steep piste on Kitzsteinhorn! The piste is 1.000 metres long, covers 290 metres in altitude and is venomous like a mamba – perfect for all experts who love it steep. The run starts at the valley station of Kristallbahn at 2.265 metres and ends at Langwiedboden. Definitely nothing for the faint-hearted. Adrenalin kicks and a unique feeling of freedom are guaranteed.

Kaiser Weeks – SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser

January is the best time at the slopes of the Wilder Kaiser in Tyrol. Come and enjoy!

Kitzbühel Ski Area ready for the Winter Season 2017/18

The snow secure Kitzbühel ski area is undoubtedly one of the most popular ski resorts in the world. Shooting TVB Kitzbühel - Skiing HahnenkammKitzbühel is the first non-glacier resort to start the winter skiing season in Austria!

In the next weeks they are going to open more slopes of the ski resort. (21st October opening of the slope “Resterkogel” // 26th October opening of the slope “Waldelift” near the famous Hahnenkamm…)

Best Ski Resort in the World
179 km of perfectly groomed slopes with varying degrees of difficulty, 36 km of ski trails, plus 56 romantic ski huts and lodges: this is the Kitzbühel ski area. There are 54 cable cars and ski lifts, operated by the Kitzbühel Lift Company, the Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel, which is the largest cable car company in Austria. For 5 years in a row Kitzbühel was voted “best ski resort in the world”, by Skiresort.de, the world’s largest test portal for ski resorts. The ski area has been extensively tested across 18 categories.

Kaiserschmarrn – a dish fit for an emperor
