Opening in time for the ski season 2016/17, the Flexenbahn cableway will complete the loop with a new link between Stuben/Rauz and Zürs. The Trittkopfbahn I and II and the new Albonabahn II cableways are also under construction. These renewals for a total investment of EUR 45 million will make the Arlberg skiing area the largest contiguous skiing area in Austria, boasting 305 km of downhill skiing as well as 87 lifts and cableways! This means that all resorts of the Arlberg skiing area – St. Anton and St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs, Lech, Oberlech as well as Schröcken and Warth – will be easily and comfortably accessible on skis.
